FUNCTION: The CMO oversees, develops, and employs various marketing initiatives and branding efforts to achieve our long- and short-term goals between SHS and HH Brands. This individual will have a successful track record for establishing, leading, and executing a marketing strategy in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise building brand awareness and being a thoughtful leader with the ability to execute scalable strategies that drive impactful results. The ideal candidate will be able to step in and assist all current projects, first taking time to understand all current projects, then to prioritize and assist in executing. Working closely with the CTO & development teams to accomplish backend improvements across, CDN, CMS, and PIM systems. Attending vendor product training, as well as industry trade shows. This role will directly manage a team of 3-4 people overseeing a total of 6-8 employees in the marketing department, encompassing product management, senior front end developer, graphic designer, and content teams.

This is a full-time exempt position that works a standard work week of Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm PT.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but are not limited to the following:
Set marketing goals and objectives company-wide with VP of Sales
Plan, implement and manage marketing strategy to reach goals
Analyze the company's marketing strategy and suggest improvements
Initiate and coordinate all relevant marketing initiatives (promotional campaigns, PR, etc.) across various channels (digital, print, etc.)
Oversee SEO, SEM, Content strategies and assist with work when needed
Oversee all outside marketing resources (agency and/or contractors)
Oversee PR & Outreach
Contribute to the overall growth of the company
Collaborate with other team members to manage brand and coordinate actions with key stakeholders
Track KPIs on a regular basis and present reports to CEO
Use data and reports to make evidence-based decisions
Utilize market research and analytic tools to identify and understand key customer segments
Create and present the annual marketing plan and strategy to to management team
Stay up to date with the latest technology
Stay up to date with the latest best practices
Attend marketing conferences, product trade shows and industry seminars
Develop and maintain relevant strategic partnerships
Other projects and duties, as appropriate
Hands-on experience with CRM and SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Sprout, Airtable, SalesForce, search console
Ability to regularly produce and present reports
In-depth knowledge of big data analysis
Interested in interior design / construction
Expert knowledge in:
SEM and SEO concepts and strategies
Online campaign management
Market research and analysis
MA in Marketing or Management
8+ years of experience in marketing ; project management, account management, leadership
Experience in hardware
Marketing certifications are a plus
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent presentation skills
Strong team player

Vacation Time: Employees will be frontloaded a prorated amount of vacation time after just 90 days with the company. Once an employee reaches their first January 1st with the company, they will be frontloaded 5 days of vacation time to use throughout the year.
